For The Ballard Bomber season opener, Kadance got to be on the Junior Cheer Squad. She was a bit shy to start out but she did a great job for a hundred people staring at her. With her smile and charm I could see this activity in her future.
Kadance started Kindergarten at Ballard West on August 19. She has been ready to be at school for quite some time now, she was overwhelmed with excitement on the first day. We went to orientation with her a couple nights before school started, met her teacher Mrs. Campbell, dropped of school supplies, and got to see her classroom.
With her Hannah Montana backpack of course, after all that is who she is going to be when she grows up!
For Kelly's birthday this year he received a food dehydrator. After much trial and error he has perfected (in my eyes) his beef jerky. It is comparable to the store brands you can buy and much cheaper. It is great to be able to take a bag on the go!
We had the priviledge to pick up Todd from the airport after 7 months of training for the Air Force. He surprised his family so we stored him at our house over night until the party. Kadance made a sign for his arrival at the airport. She was super excited, it was her first time at the airport and way after her bed time.
We are so proud of Todd and the sacrifices he and every other Soldier make!
We headed off to KC in the RV and stayed right at the campsite. From site you could watch and hear the Mamba at all times, Kadance wanted that to be her first ride. Needless to say, she didn't enjoy it, however the look on her face was priceless!
These were a little more her style!
And of course we visited Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and Friends.
Kelly and I have been married since June 7, 2008. We have a seven year old daughter named Kadance. She is almost through the first grade at Ballard West in Slater. We are so excited for her. Then there is our son/dog Jack. He is full of energy and always amazes us with his skills. We hope to expand the family in the coming years. I attend Nursing School at DMACC and have completed my LPN. A little over a year left with the program and I will be a RN.
