With all of the beautiful weather, the annual tulip fest in Pella was much earlier this year.  We decided to go up on a saturday afternoon, a road trip with just the girls.

We are going to make this a tradition.

Kadances' Sweet Seven

Kadance turned 7 years old on January 13, this just happened to be a Friday night, so we thought what better than a pool/slumber party. Kadance invited some girls from school and church to help her celebrate. It was a great time!

Christmas 2011

On December 21, 2011 we took possession of our new home. We didn't put up a tree or do lights but with all the family and friends that helped us move in, it has been one of our best Christmas' yet. Even with the change in address Santa Clause was able to find our house to deliver an early gift to Kadance and Cate.

Santa brought her "I can be bride Barbie Set", just what she wanted!

Cate on the other hand was less than thrilled.

Maybe next year.
